Music/Choir Director

Jacqueline Teh is a dedicated musician, active in both the choral and jazz communities. She has composed and arranged music for various ensembles, such as the University of Toronto Vocal Jazz Ensemble and several other small ensembles at U of T. She has worked with renowned Canadian jazz musicians such as Mike Murley and Terry Promane. She has also sung in masterclasses for Dave Liebman and Norma Winstone.

Jacqueline has performed with the Ontario Youth Choir, the University of Toronto Jazz 12tet, and the Cantabile Chamber Singers. She has also participated in several grand scale musical projects such as the performance of R. Murray Schafer’s “Apocalypsis” during the Luminato Festival and the “1000 Voices for Peace” Project in Belgium.

Jacqueline is currently working with the Toronto Children’s Chorus Kindernotes Program and teaching privately at the Toronto Allegro Music School. She is passionate about sharing her love for music and singing with other people and is thrilled to be bringing that positive energy to the Choir Nation team.
